Refer a client

For therapists, physicians, and allied health professionals

If you're working with someone who could benefit from specialized trauma-informed, parts-based, or somatic therapy — whether as a primary therapist or alongside the work you're already doing together — I'd love to connect.

my philosophy

I believe that healing doesn't have to happen in isolation — and that outpatient clients deserve the same coordinated, multidisciplinary support that's standard in higher levels of care like IOP, PHP, or residential treatment.

Just because someone is in an outpatient setting, doesn't mean they can't have a team. A psychiatrist managing medication, a somatic therapist working with the nervous system, a primary therapist holding the relational container — these roles can coexist in harmonious tandem when providers are aligned around the client's wellbeing.

I welcome collaborative relationships with referring providers and believe that a connected team creates better client outcomes than any one provider working alone.

Who I work with

I specialize in working with high-achieving adults navigating the effects of childhood trauma, dysfunctional family dynamics, and complex relational patterns. Clinically, this often presents as:

  • Anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or chronic people-pleasing

  • Attachment difficulties and relationship patterns rooted in early family dynamics

  • Histories of emotional, physical, sexual, or spiritual abuse

  • Family estrangement or difficulty navigating relationships with emotionally immature or narcissistic family members

  • Clients who have done prior therapy, have strong insight, but remain stuck in entrenched patterns

These clients tend to be self-aware, motivated, and ready for depth-oriented work — but need a modality that goes beyond cognitive insight into experiential and somatic change.

TWO WAYS TO REFER

PRIMARY REFERRAL

If you have a client who is looking for a new therapist and your expertise, availability, or approach isn't the right fit — I welcome warm referrals. I specialize in trauma, attachment, and family dysfunction, and work particularly well with clients who have prior therapy experience and are ready to go deeper.

I also work closely with couples therapists when one partner is in need of individual therapy.

I'll follow up with your client directly, and if it's a good fit, I'm happy to connect with you briefly to support a smooth transition — always at the client's direction and with appropriate consent.

If your client is already working with you and wants to explore IFS or somatic work alongside their existing therapy — this is something I offer and genuinely enjoy.

This model works well when:

  • A client asks about IFS or somatic approaches that fall outside your current scope or focus

  • You want to continue as the primary relational anchor while a specialist works on a specific area of treatment

  • A client is ready to go deeper somatically but doesn’t want to leave the therapeutic relationship they've built with you

In this model, your client remains your client. My role is focused and adjunctive — working specifically with parts-based or somatic material in a way that supports, not competes with, the work you're doing together.

Coordination is client-led. I follow the client's direction on how much communication between providers feels right for them, and I'm always open to a brief consultation call with you if that would be helpful.

Adjunctive referral

What to expect after you refer

  • I personally review all referrals and respond within 1–2 business days (and yes, I WILL respond!)

  • I'll reach out to your client directly, introduce myself, and schedule a free 20-minute consultation

  • If we're a good fit, we'll schedule a first session from there. If I’m not, I’ll reach back out to you with more aligned referrals.

  • I'm available for a brief provider-to-provider call at any point if you'd find that useful — you’ll have my full contact information and can get in touch any time (with client consent)
